Well done spicy towers! This delicious Nacho Style Feast is the latest member of the @spicentice range This kit was super tasty, simple to cook and syn free! I used my HEA to crown with Go, Go cheese for a gooey cheese top. Ingredients 300g of lean minced meat 2 garlic cloves finely chopped 1 medium onion finely chopped 1 red pepper diced 1 can of chopped tomatoes 1 tbsp of tomato paste 1/2 tsp of salt Frylight 2 large baking potatoes HEA cheese or Go, Go cheese Spicentice Nacho Style Feast spice kit Method 1. Preheat the oven to 180/Gas Mark 4. 2. Cut the potatoes in to wedges and spritz with frylight. 3. Sprinkle over half of the nacho spices over the wedges and bake for around 40 minutes until they are golden. 4. Sauté the onion in frylight for 5 minutes then add the garlic and sauté for a minute before adding the mince. Brown the mince for around 10 minutes. 5. Add the red pepper for a couple of minutes then add the tinned tomatoes, tomato paste and salt. 6. Stir in the remaining nacho spices and 100mls of water, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. 7. Assemble everything in an ovenproof dish, a ring of wedges around a heap of the mince mixture and top with cheese of choice. Either pop back in the hot oven or under grill and melt the cheese. It’s a Syn Free Saturday Fakeaway for us and we’re going to India tonight, sadly only in a culinary sense…😂 I would really like to go back to India one day and give the poor camel that I rode last time an easier shift 5 stone lighter! Tonight I bring you Sweet Potato Pakora, @spicentice Lamb Rogan Josh & Tandoori Cauliflower served with Basmati Rice 😋🇮🇳😍 Syn Free Sweet Potato Pakora Ingredients for around 16 golf ball size pakora. 2 medium Sweet Potatoes 1 small white onion 1 small red onion 1 tsp of ground coriander 1 tsp of ground cumin 1 tsp of Garam masala 0.5 – 1 tsp of chilli to your taste Salt & pepper Method 1. Preheat your oven to 200°/180°Fan/Gas 5 2. Pop some grease proof paper on a roasting tray and spritz with frylight. 3. Prick your sweet potatoes and cook in the microwave. I have a setting on my microwave for weight but they usually take around 10 minutes. 4. Either grate or very finely slice your onions. I half, make three cuts down the length of the onion and then finely slice. 5. Squeeze any excess water out of the onions – you’ll be surprised once you get a good grip lol! 6. Pop the onions in a bowl and add all of the spices, and season, giving a good stir. 7. Grate in the sweet potato. I grate without taking the skin off but you will find you end up with a piece of ungrated skin, so just discard that. 8. Now the fun bit, get in with your hands and form golf ball sized pakoras. I made 16. 9. Pop the pakoras on the baking tray and spritz with frylight bake for 15 minutes. 10.
