A common sight during the Cretaceous 100 million years ago in North Africa. These two genus of fish haven’t overlapped and interacted in the wild since the continents broke apart. Garlic my platinum alligator gar eating one of his tank mates a Polypterus delhezi. After being together for months Garlic decided he was big enough to attempt to eat him.
