The Declaration of Plant Rights is an interactive video artwork on plant rights created from an ecocentric perspective. The work advocates breaking through the cognitive framework of anthropocentrism, recognizing the intrinsic value and agency of non-human life, and promoting an ecological ethic of equal coexistence among all beings. Human voice triggers the plant imagery, reading aloud activates the viewing experience, and visual declarations signal the recognition of rights. #digitalart
