Swimming with whale sharks - which are indeed sharks and not whales - is a magnificent adventure on the bucket lists of many. The largest fish in the world is gentle, but can be as long as a school bus and weigh up to 45,000 lbs! Even while keeping a respectful distance from these spectacular creatures, which is imperative for the safety of both humans and the whale sharks, swimming next to a whale shark is no doubt an incredibly humbling experience.⠀ ⠀ Video by @postandfly #WildlifePlanet
